**Catbells has to be one of The Lake District's most famous fells and thousands of people (and pets) hike to the summit each year.

However, it is notorious for not having enough parking spaces as there is no car park, and we want to discourage irresponsible parking in the Lake District and promote the use of public transport.

Did you know you can get the bus or the boat to the base of Catbells? Remove the stress and disappointment of trying to park and get the bus or boat instead.

**Bus

**The Honister Rambler 77/77A

The 77/77A is the bus you want to get, to get you to the start of Catbells

This is a circular seasonal bus service that operates from Easter to October in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions taking in Portinscale, Catbells, Grange, Seatoller, Honister Slate Mine, Buttermere, Lorton and Whinlatter Forest.

The bus stop in Keswick is located at the Bus station just outside of Booths, Stand 3.
