The Sandbox

The Sandbox Café is Keswick's first café inspired by parenthood, offering a unique experience where guests operate 1/14 scale radio-controlled construction vehicles in a purpose-built indoor sandpit. Founded by Lawrance White, a former plant hire specialist, the café serves freshly roasted coffee from Carvetii Coffee Roasters and handmade cakes by Buttermere Baking Company.

Powered by 100% renewable energy, it features an upstairs lounge for quieter moments and lower counter seating around the sandpit for wheelchair access. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the café area with complimentary water and treats provided.
