Visit Keswick terms of use

These terms apply when you use visitkeswick.com or use Visit Keswick inside an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. When you book, the booking terms also apply, and the privacy policy and booking privacy notice explain how we use your information.

Who we are

Visit Keswick is the visitor guide of the Keswick Tourism Association (KTA). The accounts, booking and assistant technology behind it are provided by Selfe, run by Yond Group Ltd.

What the guide lists

Visit Keswick lists KTA member businesses. Places appear because they are members, and search results are ordered by how well they fit what you asked for, not by payment. Descriptions, facilities, availability and prices come from the businesses and their booking systems. We work to keep them accurate, but they can change: please check anything that matters to you with the business. Live prices and availability are checked again before any booking is confirmed.

Using Visit Keswick in an AI assistant

In an AI assistant you get the same places, prices and booking terms as on visitkeswick.com. The assistant can search, show places and open a booking card. Nothing is booked or charged until you confirm on that card. The assistant itself is provided by its own company under its own terms, and what it says in its replies is its own, not ours: the places, prices and terms shown by Visit Keswick are the ones that apply.

Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your email address, so keep that email account secure. You can see and manage your bookings and saved cards in your account. We may suspend an account that is used to misuse the service or other people's details.

Fair use

Please do not interfere with the site or the service, try to get around its limits or security, or use it to make bookings you do not intend to keep. Automated tools and AI agents are welcome within our published access rules.

Content

The guide's text and photographs belong to the KTA, its members or their photographers. You are welcome to share links to any page.

Our responsibility

The business you book with supplies the stay, meal or activity, as the booking terms explain. We are not responsible for other websites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
