Burnside B&B

Burnside B&B is a homely, family-run guesthouse in Keswick, run by Sharon and Peter Garner. The property has period features throughout and rooms are individually decorated with William Morris prints and Tiffany style leaded glass lights.

All rooms are non-smoking, en-suite and stocked with organic toiletries. Sharon's well renowned breakfast is cooked fresh to order each morning using high quality, locally sourced ingredients, and includes a healthy choice of options from the classic full English to freshly cooked waffles with toffee sauce.

Not forgetting the homemade preserves, with vegan and gluten-free menu options available too. All eaten in front of a traditional wood burning fire.

Burnside holds both the Visit England Breakfast Award and Fair-Trade accreditation. Burnside B&B has WiFi throughout, free parking adjacent and secure bicycle storage facilities.

The property is located a 15-minute walk (3-minute drive) from Keswick town centre, which can be accessed via the old railway line, as well as a 15-minute walk to Castlerigg Stone Circle, making Burnside B&B the perfect base for walks to Scafell Pike, Skiddaw, Helvellyn and Blencathra.
